Taken at the Lilyfest at Landsford Canal State Park in SC.
This is the Rocky Shoals Spider Lilies. They are a rare flower that only has about 50 known colonies in SC, GA and Alabama. They grow out in the water among the rocks. Landsford Canal has one of the largest colonies of these flowers!  |

In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
